Current Webwise Pilots

The UK's three largest Internet Service Providers (ISPs) - BT, TalkTalk and Virgin Media - signed exclusive agreements with Phorm in February 2008. Phorm's revolutionary technology will enable the companies to offer their customers a free online service, Webwise, which helps users see fewer irrelevant online advertisements and offers additional protection against malicious websites.

The first step to rolling out the product to customers is a live pilot test with a select group of trial customers, to ensure the technology works as expected within the ISP's unique network structure. For a pilot test, customers are usually invited to join Webwise on a trial basis for a set period of time.
